Victoria’s Secret & Co. is using AI to make shopping more personalized and inclusive

Just before the National Retail Federation conference and trade show in New York City, Victoria’s Secret told the world it is working with Google Cloud to use artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance the online shopping experience.

The retail lingerie chain is exploring the use of AI in several ways, including creating a virtual assistant powered by AI to provide personalized product recommendations and advice, improving product search capabilities, allowing users to search for products by uploading an image, analyzing customer sentiment to drive product innovation, and optimizing forecasting and internal operations.

This collaboration aims to make shopping more personalized, inclusive, and seamless for customers worldwide. How this all works and what’s revealed will all come in due time, I’m sure.
