“We’re Who We Are”

Here’s the thing.

Most people spend their whole lives trying to look like they belong. They dress the part. They talk the talk. They buy the props.

But deep down… they’re tourists.

We’re not tourists. We never have been.

Yeah, we’ve heard the voice too — You don’t belong here. You’re not from here.

The difference? We kept going anyway.

Most people stop. They wait for permission.

They try to earn a seat at the table by asking politely.

Not my style. Not my team’s style. Not a winner’s style. Not a champion’s style.

We? We built our own table. We broke the legs on the old one just to make sure nobody could crawl back to it.

Here’s the secret about Imposter Syndrome: It’s not a flaw. It’s a signal. It means you’ve crossed the safe line. It means you’re in territory they can’t even imagine entering.

They’ll call you a “wanna-be.” Fine. Better to wanna be more than to settle for less.

They’ll call you a “near-do-well.” Good. That means you’re in motion. Near-do-well just means you’re not done yet.

It’s like athletes with “potential.” All that means is, “hasn’t done it yet.”

And here’s the truth they’ll never say out loud: We are who we are.

And you’re not.

Because while they’re still wondering if they’re ready, we’re already out there doing it.

While they’re still asking, Am I enough? We’re too busy building, breaking, fixing, launching, failing, and getting back up again.

We don’t belong here by accident. We belong here because we decided to.

And if you have to ask whether you’re in the club…you’re not.
