A report out of Europe shows that VoIP and Mobile Phones are quickly replacing traditional (PSTN) phone service in Western Europe. I think you are also seeing the end of traditional PBX and Centrex services as part of this migration to an always on, always connected IP environment for voice and more advanced services.
The value of a Boingo account just got bigger as they are combining with SBC to offer each other’s customers roaming between both networks hotspots. While the agreement opens up many of the hotspots that SBC built out (i.e. UPS Stores) it excludes the McDonalds restaurant locations as those are Wayport built out properties.

According to I2Telecom sales of VoiceStick are very strong. When I read a backlog of orders that means they didn’t project the sales volumes correctly and now have to play catch-up with manufacturing. That’s a good problem to have, unless someone else comes along and fills the gap.
