Martin on VON

Just read it This is better than I could have done given my time was all taken with meetings. I am so happy Martin captured the essensce of what is going on, being said and how VoN looks.

Whose Not Here?

I can’t see the Sun. There’s no Apple in my eye. Guess neither have a VoIP play. Yahoo is all over the place with a few ranking executives. Macromedia is here too walking the floor. But AOL who is going to roll out a dial up VoIP product via Level3 is nowhere to be heard….

Pulver To Be Profiled

Hiawatha Bray, technology pundit for the Boston Globe is working on a story about Jeff Pulver and the growth of VoIP. I wish Hiawatha would have asked me for the skinny on Jeff. My sidekick on the World Technology RoundUp Ken Rutkowski used to host an online radio show with Jeff called Voices On the … Read more

Level3 Makes Old News

Back in what was the Spring or Early Summer I posted that Speakeasy was going with the Level 3 solution over Covad’s Go Beam based platform. Seems I was early, but right on given today’s announcement.

Pulver Communicator Unleashed

Pulver Hits a Home Run

VON is hot. Red Hot. Hats off to Jeff Pulver and his team for putting together a jam packed five days of VoIP. There is possibly more than one person can absorb. The panels are excellent, the show floor well laid out, and all the right companies are there. VON is back to where Jeff … Read more

VoiceWing Not Flying

How clueless are the folks at Verizon’s VoiceWing…? First their PR person calls me to set up a briefing and leaves a phone number. Guess what? No voice mail. So I went by the VON booth tonight and neither of the two VoIP people were around, and neither was the PR person. If they’re trying … Read more
