The folks at Engadget found this first, but I think it’s interesting enough to go to the source. A phone that works on both Skype and PSTN…and is wireless..Very cool.

I’ve said it before, with VoIP it’s all about the applications. Om pointed me to the VoIP Yawn which seems to have come to the same conclusion.
It appears that the RBOC’s are ganging up on VoIP via a well coordinated effort that could have the same impacts as a DOS attack on a server. Read on. It looks like the idea of a phone that offers both 3G and VoIP over WiFi is for real in Japan.
