To prove that PCCW is wrong, Hong Kong telecom operator City Telecom is offering a free VoIP trial. One has to commend City for taking the high road. Rather than get into a war of words with PCCW, the upstart is saying let the service prove for itself how well it works.

First they came out with the AT&T CallVantage Telephone adapter but now it looks like D-Link has come out with their own Telephone Adapter. It is a SIP based adapter, but no details regarding which carriers it will work with were disclosed.
