Jim Courtney of Skype Journal has a nice post about the available alternatives to the late, lamented SkypeCasts which Skype decided to stop operating. He picked up on my Meme yesterday (as did others) about the decision by Skype to shutter a community benefit service. The two suggestions are: Calliflower from iotum and VAPPs’ HighDefConferencing.
Over the past few months we’ve seen a rash of complaints from bloggers and users about Skype. Now I see they’ve decided to retire SkypeCasts (hat tip to Stuart Henshall).
