Google window-shops for VoIP meaning something will happen first in Google Labs. For Google, with their directory oriented search conjurs up all kinds of possibilities.

When Old News Is Not News and Some Predictions

AOL VoIP I guess I’m getting jadded but the AOL announcements today really weren’t news. With Level3 leaking all over the place the last few months, and with Beta Testers spilling the beans, AOL’s entry was more a non-event than an event. I guess I expected more from them and fully expect that over the … Read more

On Server Outages

Today the always reliable Yahoo Business Mail hosting went down. I couldn’t get email and likely some mail is stuck in the ether trying to get to me. The moral of this story is that it’s not just VoIP that has server issues. Even the mighty and reliable stumble from time to time.

]Vonage and the Customer Experience

It’s great to see Ted Shelton back writing on IP Inferno: as he has today about Vonage and the Customer Experience. As a long time customer of Vonage, and CallVantage, and one who has many of the carriers in the house I know exactly what Ted is talking about. My customer experience is better than most with … Read more
