It’s great to see Ted Shelton back writing on IP Inferno: as he has today about Vonage and the Customer Experience.
As a long time customer of Vonage, and CallVantage, and one who has many of the carriers in the house I know exactly what Ted is talking about. My customer experience is better than most with Vonage because I can get to people more easily as a member of the media. That said, I’ve had my frustration periods with them too and those experience have been well documented.
What Vonage has done is built a category in the public’s mind about VoIP. They opened up the sector and others are doing well in it, but Ted’s right, there’s a lot more needed before they are the winner.
