Cox Communications, one the USA’s larger cable television and broadband providers has gone CALEA compliant for the VoIP telephony service.
For now this means calls placed over the Cox VoIP network can be listened in on by government officials. However, other carriers like VONAGE, Packet8 cannot be via the Cox network. That’s expected soon.
