Pennsylvania Holds off on Regultion of VoIP

Following the lead of the FCC, the State of Pennsylvania has taken a hands off approach for regulating VoIP. The real winner here is Comcast, one of the largest cable operators in the state, and which is headquartered in Philadelphia, the largest city in the state.

Comcast, which has been working on rolling out VoIP and already has Voice over Cable service available is now free to decide how to work with the upstart carriers and what to permit to run over their network.
