VoiceGlo seems to have become the first of the consumer targeted VoIP players to really go after the small and medium enterprise market with their announcement of a new PBX product offering.
This market, which may be one of the largest untapped segments could be huge for the company which was formerly the Globe, one of the high flying dot.bombs that crashed and burned, but is rising under the direction of some savvy business guys who have experience in many sectors, and know how to make a company run, led by former Alamo Rent A Car guru Michael Egan.
The SOHO market that needs a PBX has largely been ignored except by CallTower when it comes to being aggressive or a bunch of Cisco integrators who tend to sell hardware. VoiceGlo’s inexpensive solution may be very disruptive to that market, depending on call quality, service offerings and customer support.
