While I won’t make jokes like I could about VoiceGlo going to the dogs with their announcement today their strategy is starting to get clear surrounding the free on net calling service offering.
While they don’t admit it, they want VoiceGlo’s GloPhone to be the next generation of online chat rooms and interactivity between members of the same groups without costs.
I have to admit, the idea is not original, as Webley System’s Alex Kurganov had the same idea over 12 months ago as a way to stimulate Webley’s IP based conferencing service. It is however a very good way to get consumers familier with a brand, and the experience of VoIP. For GloPhone it is also a more powerful way to get their VoIP based virtual PBX concept running, tested while building a customer base.
For VoiceGlo, they hope this Neopet relationship is a “Purrfect” match….and not a donkey like move.
