Internet Telephony’s VoIP Developer’s Conference begins tomorrow in San Jose at the Fairmount Hotel.
While shows by Internet Telephony don’t carry the panache of Jeff Pulver and his VON events they do fill an important need for the growing VoIP industry, providing an additional event each year, backed up by the industry leading coverage that the TMC Publications provide. Publisher Rich Tehrani is hoping to attract 500 people to this show, which has amongst its sponsors Avayaa, Pingtel, Intel and a few others.
Tehrani says the show brings buyers and sellers together, which is what trade shows are supposed to do. Given the momentum created in June at SuperComm around VoIP this may be a well timed show and set the stage for the October VON which is shaping up to be the biggest and best VON ever based on all of Jeff Pulver’s reports.
