voipreview.org sells VoIP

A site called VoIPReview.org is seeking to gain traffic to drive customer towards VoIP adoption. Some of the good features it includes community tools where users of many VoIP services can interact with one another in the forums, and where they can critique the services.

The most valuable feature is the comparative features section which offers shoppers a way to compare the various options from all the VoIP carriers it has data on.

Sadly, the site omits AT&T CallVantage, iConnectHere, Lingo, BroadVox, Broadvoice, Viper and many others. Still it’s a start and certainly will help put some more information out and hopefully provide more accuracy in information about VoIP service availability and offerings than RoffeNet’s chart that has mistakes which I took the time to correct, something they have neither acknowledged my note, nor posted the correction.

If this site can gain any traction, it could be for VoIP what DSLReports.com has become in the high speed user and tech community but for now it looks more like a thinly disguised affiliate model front end. Still, for VoIP to grow sites like this, if properly managed will help provide a forum for potential users to learn about the the various options, in hopefully a carrier neutral manner.
