The ultra VoIPster Keith Bare of VoIPNuke has a post about IBM and their moving of the voice over to VoIP. His sources indicate that Level3 will be the winner here, yet at the same time IBM is helping QWEST engineer their VoIP platform using Sonus and Sylantro equipment.
If you recall a few years back, IBM got out of the IP network biz selling to AT&T. Terms of the deal say ten years, so if IBM is looking at other networks beyond AT&T it seems odd, but in business, nothing should ever be taken for granted.
