VoIP On The Move

ABI Research tells us what we already know and gives support to the way the UK’s Ofcom is working towards making VoIP easier and more understood.

What I do agree with is the fact that VoIP is out of the garage and into the executive suite. It’s there and with lots of reliability, yet I still hear stories of bad installs, network issues and compatability with legacy PBX systems.

Companies that are investing in VoIP need to make sure they have all the network resources before they leap into the VoIP world. When you think about it, consumer VoIP will be easier to implement for carriers, which is why I can’t understand why the lag time in rolling out a technology that has been around for almost a decade.
