There have been reports of Verisign in the VoIP business. Now it seems to be official.
Now this is where it gets very interesting. Verisign basically is the switchboard of the digital era which connects this to that.
It gets interesting when you cross one from column A with Column B so to speak. When Verisign does that, say connect the web address to a phone number or vice versa…hmm it will really have something. With Voice XML and interactive voice already out there, it is more a when not an if in my opinion.
