This is not a new idea, but a great use of WiFi and VoIP. Basically it will replace walkie talkies for the security and usering staff, provide managers better point to point and mass communications as well as give the fans a new way to stay informed. Imagine from a PDA ordering those great tasting arena hot dogs or fresher than fresh cups of beer…..warm soda…Not. But for the people who sit in the VIP Executive Suites or who can keep their devices dry this means alot of new ways to communicate from sporting event venues.
Now only if the NHL was playing…..grumble, grumble, grumble.
