I’m sorry, this is off topic, but a ban on using mobile phones in a court room is one thing, but to not permit them at all is something someone needs to explain to me.
In this era of electronics, being able to text a colleague who is not in the court room to get facts or information would seem to make sense, especially if it can be done silently.
