EuroTelcoblog takes a spin on the Lucent XTEN collaboration, while linking Skype in the Motorola camp. I see the need for open source, open switchboard and open standards connectivity.
Unless we work towards true interoperability we are facing a Balkanization of telephony and communications. That’s the issue we now have with Instant Messaging. We don’t need it with VoIP.
