Skype executives keep pushing the idea of Skype being a mobile communications platform, but what they are really saying is Portable. Now, when WiMax and Skype get married, I can see it being really mobile.
Look at this example of a pre-WiMax deployment that will be reaching out to Californians. I only hope they cover my area just north of San Diego along the coast.
