Skype Journal is leading the way on coverage of Skype and their efforts with Video.
My product management and consumer product marketing background has the Spider sense and Crystal Ball working. I remember seeing and hearing the very first Demo of Skype on the PocketPC at Demo 2003 and recall the comment about video then from Skype’s founder. It has never not stayed in my mind and the more I see, hear and read, the more I’m convinced that’s really what they want to be the leader in. Getting people connected was part one. Being the Video communications company seems though to be a core part of their strategy.
Bring on the big, fat pipe guys…I’m all for it.
