Over the past week or so I’ve gotten the required E-911 warnings from many of the providers of VoIP that I have under roof.
Packet8, Broadvoice, VoicePulse, Vonage and AT&T all have sent me the notices, and with Vonage and AT&T, since I pay for them, I have had no difficulty making sure that my local PSAP will be found at both of my residences.
With the Vonage system, I’m fully loaded now, even though it took a week. I have to admit, on this one, Vonage is on the ball, even if their web site for the activation is bit Mac unready.
Tom makes some comments about the Mainstream Media’s attention to the issue.
