I’m on the Acela train to NYC from Philadelphia. It’s a poor version of the TGV (i.e. more noise, rougher ride, harder seats) but the state of the art when it comes to rail transportation here in the USA.
I’m also on the Verizon Broadband Access network with EvDO and staying connected. Speed on both are very good. 110 mph or so on the rails and between 200-300k while moving.
