Our buddy Om did very well in the Business Week Blog Poll as GigaOm.com garnered 11 percent of the popular vote. But the big news is how he crushed O’Reilly and bested TechDirt.
Considering Om doesn’t promote, isn’t part of a network of sites and only blogs part time, this is a huge testament to his popularity. But being popular doesn’t just make for a great site. It’s all about the content and viewpoint. Om has that.
And more importantly, it’s who he’s got reading him that matters.
