Skype For Mac New Version Out w/Forward

Skype has released a new beta version for the Mac that adds some of the features of the newly minted Windows XP 2.0 version.

Beside the new bells and whistles related to moods and some additional sound effects, the latest version for the Mac provides management capability of Skype Forward. It also adds a nifty pull down option to manage the application, make calls and initiate a chat. I wish though they had included send a file and also enabled you to pull down and make a call to a real phone number, not just the names or numbers in your contacts.

Regarding 2.0, according to a Canada Cup winning reader the new 2.0 sucks up major resources and caused PCs to get super heated when Video is utilized.
