Erik Lagerway, whose now burning the midnight oil at EyeBall after leaving XTen has posted a round up piece on the Yahoo news of this week.
Funny, I don’t think that other than briefings, that Yahoo has announced anything yet. It seems their new platform which some insiders thought would be ready this week, is still being fine tuned. That’s fine, they still don’t have a Mac client that lets those of us take advantage of those features, but I hear rumblings that sometime next year (yeah this years holiday season is coming too) the will have something to make me, and other bloggers, VoIP lovers and insightful journalists happy.
I sure hope its a better implementation than their lame excuse for an RSS based mail center currently in Beta. The darn thing renders slow, and scrolling is like backin the days of dial up. It has to get better as I’m now on a ten megabit connection as I just discovered that Cox has upped the speeds here in San Diego (without telling anyone) giving me close to 10 megs down and 1 meg up. Now that’s broadband.
