Microsoft Live Messenger, the next generation of MSN Messenger is using Verizon to power their LiveCall service and Logitech’s syncronized audio and video service.
This appears to me to be more of a me too product, trying to keep up with the Skypes and Yahoos when it comes to VoIP while the new AIM Phoneline from AOL at least breaks some new ground with their Nomadic E911 feature. Also, Logitech has never been able to really come close to client SightSpeed’s video quality despite all their attempts over the past few years with MSN.
