It’s interesting but not surprising to see rumors of Apple wanting to play in the VoIP space. And you know what? Apple will do for VoIP what they did for downloading music. They will make it cool, hip and fun, something all the rest dream of, but never quite get to do….If I was Yahoo I’d get that Mac client out fast, before Apple takes a bite out of them.
If Apple wanted to move fast, they would snap up GizmoProject and have the VoIP side of things nailed. The other possible player to work with Apple. AOL.
The two have had a long standing relationship which has waned over time. This could be the kick starter that rekindles that.
