At VON last Tuesday for Jeff Pulver’s Birthday, and the tenth anniversary of VON I went out on a limb and suggested everyone wear Hawaiian Shirts.
Jeff reported that he counted over 150 shirts. That’s pretty good, plus of course PhoneBoy and a few others who sent in picture from afar garbbed in a similar manner.
Of course Jeff and I wore ours at the Level3 Dinner at the Harvard Club too , where the wine was dramatically improved as your’s truly was asked to pick them. Jeff moderated a discussion with Level3 Chairman Jim Crowe which ended up being a very interesting fireside chat that clearly indicates that Crowe and FCC Chairman Martin won’t be picking out the china or linens for the same house in the near future. Crowe was very outspoken on his views of what the FCC was and was not doing.
