Demo Observation

I’m at the DEMO conference and one point that has to be made about all the news coverage, and there is plenty is that there is difference between a demo and a demo of a live product.

A lot of companies here are on a dream path. They have an idea. They get a web site built, they show a product and never raise enough money to make it real.

Others are here because they’re past that point, actually have users and they are here launching. That’s the Demo of a Live Product.

Note to producers: Call it Launch if they are alive and DEMO if they are seeking money and are not ready to accept users.
