Jeff Pulver is on vacation but still blogging. He’s put out a call for companies to be part of something that he seems to be developing, the IP Communications Class of 2007.
Between this and the TMC VoIP Developers show, and the Google World Developer Day this looks like a year for lots of new. That also means lots of roadkill. With carriers making it more difficult for innovation to occur, so there needs to be a greater effort to have companies band together and address issues of mutual concern. By doing so, the like minded companies will increase both their life expectancy and probability for success.
This is also where the successful companies and executives have to begin giving back, so others may follow in their footsteps, or innovation will die.
