The recent news around an In-Stat survey looks like good news for a few clients, notably Nokia and BridgePort Networks, both of whom have a stake in the seeing the advancement of Dual Mode technology for the mobile phone user.
I’ve been using the Nokia E61i and Nokia N95 and my primary phones since April. Before that it was the Nokia N80-Internet Edition. I’ve found myself using GrandCentral to direct the calls to the no cost Truphone or GizmoProject numbers for inbound calls and making use of Gizmo and Truphone (an agency client also) for outbound calls when traveling, even here in the USA when cell service in hotels has been poor, versus the hotel phone that may not be in a convenient location.
Others I know have been doing the same. Like me, they are early adopters, and like me, have realized that technology makes things possible and eventually what we do today that is against the norm, will indeed become the norm.
