Friends Join Up For Dinner in Montpellier

Being an only child, I never really had a “family” beyond my parents and some cousins. So when I use “family” these days it tends to apply to people who have become like family to Helene and I.

Last night in Montpellier, at the Cellier Morel, the top notch restaurant in the Maison de Lozere, located in the historic section of Montpeyroux some of my closest “family members” showed up to join us, with more and more arriving over the next few days.0

Seeing friends like Kim and Ray McKewon (retired co-founder of Accredited Home Lenders – a former Comunicano client), my friend Heather Moore, who lives in Rome, Italy and whom recently also became engaged, Larry Yasner-a friend of thirty one years, plus being joined by my Comunicano Account Executive Danielle Ross who works on the Nokia and Covad Blogger Relations Program and her beau David Prager) last night and having them all share conviviality was so emotionally charged. Many had yet to ever meet before and yet, it was like old times. For this Helene and I both are thankful.

More people arrive today so look for more news…oh, yes..We did drink wine last night and was it ever great. Four bottles from the Languedoc, a delightful 2005 Trimontine from M. Fonsalade, the 2006 Arbous from Mas Bruggieres, both white, a stunning 2001 Alquier Bastides Faugeres and the 2005 Domaine Alain Chabernon.
