Blogging makes people friends. Some become close friends. If I’m a tad down today it’s because I received just dreadful news about a comrade in arms, Marc Orchant. Mark is in what can be described as being in pretty bad shape.
Grave is a good way to describe his condition.
Friend Oliver Starr has a blog post that provides the details. Marc and Oliver are very, very close friends. Both worked at Foldera together, left the company at almost the same time, and both moved to BlogNation days apart.
Marc is someone who I have talked with, emailed and broken bread with, along with his wife Sue and my wife. Ironically, just this past weekend I mentioned to my wife, Helene, that we need to go to New Mexico some time next year to see Marc and Sue. I’m keeping a good thought that Marc recovers and that trip is possible.
He’s one of the good guys on the planet….Let’s hope he stays on it…
