With eComm, VON and CTIA behind me, the next event of importance is Telco 2.0. Dubbed by the organizers, including Martin Geddes, as an Executive Brainstorm, Telco 2.0 may be the most important conferences of the first half of the year if your business is telecom, VoIP or Mobile 1.0, 1.5 or 2.0.
I had the good fortune to attend their 3rd conference last fall, and immediately made a point of scheduling things in London around this month’s conference. Why? Because of the brainpower and lack of B.S. in the room. For starters Martin and his colleagues hand pick the presenters and then work with many of them to be on point. For the most part, aside from one or two fat wallet companies, the presentations were all insightful, meritorious and stimulating at the last one, and I expect that to be the case again.
Candidly, if you’re in the space, London in a week and a half this conference is a can’t miss event.
