Reflections on the Ecomm Dinner

Mr. Mashup 3.0 Thomas Howe was in the room. Alec Saunders, the man who gave us Internet Explorer and now is pushing the envelope to enable active conversations with Calliflower was there. Frederik and Paul of Jajah were there too, as was Dr. Don Thorson and a few of his Ribbiteers from Ribbit. Dan York or Voxeo, Jay Phillips of Adhearsion, James Siminoff of PhoneTag along with some of his team, and a host of what I call the forward thinkers of Voice.

Clients Rod Ullens of Voxbone, Peter Diedrich and Larry Lisser of Mobivox, Kerry Ritz of Palringo and Irv Shapiro, all agents of change in how voice is more than a commodity were there too, as were over 55 people who all came to do one thing.

Share their time and knowledge with one another. The eComm “UnDinner” was just that. No structure. No format, only a few comments from Thomas Howe and Lee Dryburgh. It was great. It has set the stage for what everyone in the industry is feeling and saying.

eComm 2009 will be the can’t miss event if you’re part of the emerging telecom scene.
