It’s always rewarding when you’ve worked to help someone who has put their heart and soul into an event, the way Lee Dryburgh has with eComm receive some favorable coverage.
After eTel was jettisoned by it’s producer, the Emerging Technology community was looking for a continuation of what had been started. When Lee stepped up, with zero experience in conference activity I offered my firms help in publicizing the event for FREE. It was an eleemosynary act on my part. Lee was taking a huge risk and continues to do so. He’s not going to get rich on eComm, but the community will be richer for his efforts.
Today, the Wall Street Journal (online edition) paid homage to eComm 2009, capping the efforts of many months of outreach.
Oh, and yes the story also featured an agency client, Mobivox, to be totally transparent, along with other well aligned companies in the Voice 2.0 space including Voxeo and Jajah.
