One of the more unique events in the Bay Area for wine lovers has to be the San Francisco Vintners Market that’s held at Fort Mason’s Herbst Pavilion.
The two day affair has a moto of “Try it. Buy it” and provides amateurs and wine professionals the opportunity to buy wines directly from the producers on the spot. Offering wines from across California and some from other parts of the wine world by attending a giant tasting and selling event like this makes it an ideal way to find the wines you’ve never seen before, taste them and decide on the spot if you want them in your collection.
