2009 Reserve de Gassac Blanc

Oh how I love the wines of the Languedoc, especially wines from the L’Herault Valley.

The 2009 vintage is showing me just how fine it was as the legendary wine producer of Mas Dumas de Gassac’s second label, Reserve de Gassac Blanc is a stunning blend of juicy, mouth filling Viognier and young, tongue tingling Marsanne.

This Vin d’Pays de l’Herault is a stunning white with oodles and oodles of honey, cloves, golden pears, granny soles and a nice dose of Garrigue herbs.

Line u some oysters from nearby Meze or Sete or a fruit and cheese plate.
