If I was looking for a marketing lead in the online, comms or video space, heck, just about any business, one of the first people I’d pull from the pool of “available” talent would be my buddy Eric Quanstrom…who is now a free agent as he and Logitech have parted ways as Surfer Boy didn’t want to move to Northern California.
Who can blame him. He lives ten minutes from the beach, just had a very successful exit and is in the category of execs who can work with anyone from anywhere. Gee, wasn’t that the premise of SightSpeed?
I’m sure Eric won’t be a free agent very long, but at least he’ll have time to drink some wine with me now. As the former head of marketing and sales for Appellation America, I know EQ likes his wines as much as me.
Add him to the list of potential first rounders….this year. He won’t be available long.
