Fring has been making lots of improvements lately to their all in one IM/VoIP client that works on Nokia N series handsets.
Now they’ve made it so that the service will work auto roam between both on WiFi and 3G.
I’ve asked if this means 3G in the USA because that means it will have to be on AT&T. T-Mobile doesn’t have that option here. On the other hand in the UK with the pound a day Web and Walk option you could have a field day with unlimited calls to people on Skype…
Just for the record too, Web&Walk if you subscribe in advance is only 7.50UKP (15 bucks) or £1 a day pay as you go, although apparently there is a fair use policy…
Fring works well with T-Mobile for me, although I’ve not tried switching mid call yet. I just wish I could change the ring-tone / volume!)
