No, I didn’t confuse Skype with Vonage. What happened is Mobile Diva and non-broadband blogger Darla Mack came to a realization after spending time with a bunch of Nokia Nseries devices most of which work with Gizmo Project.
It seems she’s come to the same conclusion others have come to. With Gizmo Project and others out there that are SIP based and that work for REAL on a mobile phone, and since Skype isn’t there yet, the basic feeling on the rise is who needs it.
Skype needs to get a REAL mobile client out there, IMHO.

Alternatively, they could just start supporting SIP. Their proprietary protocol will end up being a burden and not a stength.
