Yesterday the news broke that 3G carrier 3 was going to offer Skype calling on their mobile phone service.
Today the news out of Australia is that iSkoot is the technology that’s going to enable that to happen as there software will begin being pre-loaded onto Nokia and Ericsson handsets.
There is more to this as the handset manufacturers are rapidly moving to providing their customers with data side alternatives. The new versions of Nokia N80i’s will likely ship with Gizmo project.
