British Ad Body Orders Skype Capable VoSky Add Pulled

It looks like a British Telecom advertising complaint about ActionTec’s VoSky device was upheld. Seems they don’t like the claims, but really it sounds more like an end around move to slow down the uptake of Skype by BT to me.

The contention is that VoSky’s advert didn’t mention the need for broadband and an unmetered one at that. Oops…..

    Andy alerted me to the VoSky/BT advertising complaint. He sees it as a way to slow down Skype. It would seem every country has powerful people that would like to do the same….
