Vonage WiFi Phone-Nothing Really New

While the new UT Starcom phone may be news for Vonage, Broadvoice has had it for a while.

It’s a pain to configure, is really small, and the big issue is unless you use a totally open (i.e. Free) hotspot you’re really not able to use it on Vonage unless its open and if needed, you have the WEP or WPA keys.

Until the phones are capable of two stage authentication, nothing really great will happen.

Give Skype and Boingo credit in that area. They figured that out a long time ago.
