SightSpeed Gets New CEO

VoIP Magazine reports that Peter Csathy, who helped guide MusicMatch to acquisition by Yahoo in 2004 has stepped in to SighSpeed to be their new CEO after about a year of serving as a senior advisor.

Peter’s also a friend so I don’t want to be seen as a cheerleader, but having seen him work in the music field, I know he’s ideally suited to drive growth for SightSpeed.

The video soft client has some elements of SIP in it already. All they need to do is make it fully SIP compliant and IM interoperable like EyeBall is doing under Erik Lagerway’s direction and the game will really change.

Expect SightSpeed under Csathy to be very partner friendly and alliance driven.
