In an attempt at simplification of what Vonage and Skype both do, and a rash generalization, Advanced IP pipeline does a fairly good job at saying how each company is fishing in the same pool.
While I think this is good for Skype, for Vonage to be positioning against a free service means they’re weakening their market value to the customer.
I mean why compare yourself, or allow yourself to be compared to a service that for the most past is used by people who prefer not to pay for service. Vonage easily outnumbers the SkypeIN and I bet Skype Out user base.
