One of the issues discussed on my panel at Internet Telephony about Issues facing the Service Provider was regulation of VoIP. It seems in Costa Rica they really want to regulate it. This has to be an issue for multi-national corporations which want to roll out VoIP in their enterprise that has far reaching implications. I’m waiting for some laptop toting executive with a SoftPhone and an IP connection to get tossed in jail in one of these places.
